Birthday Thanks....Nolabola!

First off, I must apologize for being such a bad blogger lately, I hear there's a case of that going around. It definitely has not been for the lack of things to blog about, it's time. Between my amazing weekend with my parents, work, my second job of caring for my home and hubby, and turning the big 25 this week, I just haven't had the time to sit down and blog about it.

So first, I just want to thank all of my friends and family who helped make my special day even more special. The cards, gifts, phone calls, text messages, emails, facebook messages, blog shout-outs (thanks Brooke ), everything is greatly appreciated and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I was telling Josh during our dinner tonight that I just felt really loved by so many people today. This has definitely been an incredibly special birthday this year, all because of you guys.

Now it's time for you to get a good dose of my most favorite dog in the world. That's right, you called it ladies and gentlemen......NOLA!!! Josh and I had a great time with my parents last week (more pictures to come). And we had a great time with our Nola. She is just the cutest thing and just melts our hearts. I'm sure my feelings for her might change somewhat when Josh and I have a baby someday, but for now she is our baby and we are going to spoil her rotten when she comes to visit us.

Just to let you know, Nola got groomed last week. Whenever she gets groomed they put a cute little bow in her hair that only lasts a couple of days because my father takes it out. This time they put in a pretty blinged out bow. It actually had sequence on it.

Aren't these two just so precious?!!! Nola loves snuggling up on the couch on a Saturday afternoon to watch football with Josh.

I miss her. Nola, I wish you could come and live with us in Erie.

Nola is wishing my mom would share her pineapple upside down cake (sent from my Gammie with my parents...freshly made Friday morning...it was muy delicioso!)

I told my mother to bring Nola's sweater since it's been getting cooler up here. She actually didin't have to wear it this weekend but I just wanted to put it on so I could take a picture of her for you all.

Here we have my wonderful parents with Nolabola. As much as Josh and I miss Nola, we couldn't take her away from my parents. They too love her to pieces and my dad won't admit it but I know he is spoiling her rotten.

Please let me know if any one of you is going through Nola withdrawal and you need me to post some pictures of her. I will gladly oblige.

  3. Your pictures of Nola are amazing. I especially like the one where Josh has her in a headlock. It actually doesn't so much look like Nola as it does a bat.
